Issue 2 2025 of the quarterly IMA Journal of Management Mathematics (IMAMAN) was published in late May. We are delighted to announce the new Insights from Thought Leaders opening article of this new issue on Sports Management Mathematics. The article is contributed by James Reade, from the University of Reading, and Darren Royle, Chief Executive Officer, Oldham Athletic Football Club, UK. It has been made available for free to read by Oxford University Press (OUP) for three months. This issue also features a part special issue on sports management maths, which includes the open access article of László Csató.

IMAMAN is published by OUP for the Institute of Mathematics and Its Applications (IMA). The journal, currently in its 36th volume, keeps on contributing important, thematically diverse, and forward-looking research on the interface between mathematics and management.
