    Issue 2 2025 of the quarterly IMA Journal of Management Mathematics (IMAMAN) was published in late May. We are delighted to announce the new Insights from Thought Leaders opening article of this new issue on Sports Management Mathematics. The article is contributed by James Reade, from the University of Reading, and Darren Royle, Chief Executive Officer, Oldham Athletic Football Club, UK. It has been made available for free to read by Oxford University Press (OUP) for three months. This issue also features a part special issue on sports management maths, which includes the open access article of László Csató.
    For those interested, IMAMAN published a terrific full special issue in Mathematics meets Sports in 2021. More info and an interview with the guest editors can be seen here.
    Finally, the current issue, features also the open access selected paper from the 2023 joint IMA/ORs conference in Birmingham, UK, by Busra Biskin, Jorg Fliege and Antonio Martinez-Sykora, on autonomous navigation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
    IMAMAN is published by OUP for the Institute of Mathematics and Its Applications (IMA). The journal, currently in its 36th volume, keeps on contributing important, thematically diverse, and forward-looking research on the interface between mathematics and management. It is currently organized around 6 main Areas (Decision Analysis, Finance, Health and Society, Multidisciplinary Applications, Operations, and Sport), covering the entire spectrum of management mathematics research, and offering authors an excellent service as well as the communications and dissemination support of OUP.
