    Logistics and Supply Chain (LSC) Division Outstanding Industry Practitioner Award

    Dear colleagues,

    The purpose of the Logistics and Supply Chain (LSC) Division Outstanding Industry Practitioner Award is to recognize excellence in industry practice of logistics and supply chain concepts and techniques. The objectives of the award are to show appreciation to the industry practitioners of IISE who are outstanding in implementing logistics and supply chain techniques, as well as to encourage practitioners, via recognition, to raise standards in the practice and dissemination of logistics and supply chain concepts in engineering. The award will be presented at the upcoming IISE Annual Conference & Expo, Montreal, Canada, May 18-21, 2024.

    Eligibility criteria:

    ·       The candidate must be a member of IISE and the LSC division.

    ·       The applied case/project for which the candidate is being recognized must make a considerable contribution to the logistics and/or supply chain management practice.

    ·       The candidate should have industry experience in logistics and/or supply chain for at least two years. The two years don't have to be with the same company or organization.

    ·       Neither the candidate nor any of the nominators can be officers or directors of the IISE LSC board at the time the nomination is made.

    The candidate can be nominated by a colleague within their own company, or by someone who is familiar with the work or the project for which the candidate is being nominated. This includes a practitioner or an academician outside of the candidate's organization. The following documents are required for the nomination:

    ·       Two Letters of support, one from the nominator and one from another individual.

    ·       Project summary and supporting items, such as software, material, or techniques used in industry practice for which the candidate is being recognized. The summary and supporting items can be altered to hide proprietary data.

    ·       Curriculum Vitae or resume of the candidate.

    Nominations are due Feb. 12, 2024, by 11:59 PM Pacific Time. Please email the entire nomination package either as a single PDF file or a single compressed/zipped file to iiselscawards@gmail.com to the attention of the LSC Division Awards Co-Directors for full consideration. There is no application fee.
