The Wellington Award recognizes outstanding long-term contributions and service in the field of engineering economy that enhance the visibility of the Engineering Economy division of IISE. The Wellington Award is limited to individuals that have made significant contributions to the field of Engineering Economy. The award is named after Arthur M. Wellington, author of The Economic Theory of Railroad Location, in 1887.
On behalf of the IISE Engineering Economy (EE) Division, we would like to invite you to apply for this prestigious award. Brief instructions are as follows:
- Email an electronic letter of nomination (with any supporting information available) to Raymond Smith (rlsmith3rd.usa@gmail.com) by Feb. 9, 2024. Questions may be directed to the same address.
- The award winner will be announced at the 2024 IISE Annual Conference & Expo. The winner will be notified on Mar. 8, 2024.
