    Hello everyone!

    I'm Candice and I've just become a member of Informs. I'm eager to absorb as much knowledge as I can from all of you.

    Currently, I'm pursuing a Master's of Science in Business Analytics at the University of California, Davis. I'm keen on gathering insights about crafting an effective portfolio, be it on GitHub or a personal website:

    1. Has anyone been asked to present a portfolio during a job application process?

    2. I'd appreciate any guidance on creating a polished portfolio tailored for the data analytics field. I'm a bit torn between emphasizing data visualization or the coding aspect. What has been your experience?

    Hi Candice,

    I'm Abby. I also want to create a portfolio. I heard from alumnus that the interviewer will really go to see your GitHub so I think it is very important for us to do it.
