Applications are now open for the 3rd annual FutureBAProf workshop, a one-and-half day workshop at the University of Iowa for advanced PhD students and postdocs. This is the one and only workshop that demystifies academic careers in business analytics and helps participants prepare for the job market and careers in this field. We particularly want to encourage women, students from underrepresented groups, and students from departments outside business schools to apply.
Our website is up to date (https://tippie.uiowa.edu/FutureBAProf), and students can now apply online via the website. All accepted applicants will attend for FREE including air travel. The only restriction is that students are at a U.S. institution. Applications are due April 30.
The workshop will be held in Iowa City from August 11 (opening reception) – August 13 (day of departure). Participants will have opportunities to learn more about what research falls in business analytics departments, practice networking with business analytics faculty, and get expert job search advice.
