    The Wisconsin School of Business seeks a full-time, nine-month, tenured appointment to begin August 2023. The position would be responsible for teaching Information Systems at the Wisconsin School of Business, conducting information systems research, and performing service. The school has several initiatives related to the incorporation of state-of-the-art information systems principles and methods into the accounting curriculum as well as other business analytics curricula. We are looking for a faculty member to support these efforts and to provide strategic leadership. The Wisconsin School of Business currently enrolls more than 3,000 Undergraduate students, more than 500 Postgraduate students, and about 50 Doctoral students.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide guidance around the incorporation of information systems into the accounting curriculum.
    • Create and maintain a strong research program.
    • Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in the Wisconsin School of Business.
    • Contribute to the intellectual and academic life of the department. University and community service will be expected as appropriate.

    Education:

    Ph.D. in Information Systems, Accounting, or related field required by start date.

    Qualifications:

    - Demonstrated program of high quality research with publications in top tier journals.
    - Demonstrated excellence in teaching.
    - Possess academic credentials to qualify for a tenured faculty appointment at UW-Madison.
