    It is our pleasure to announce the finalists of the 2022 Public Sector OR Best Paper Award competition. We received 40 submissions this year, from many different areas of Public Sector topics. It was truly an impressive set of papers. We are very thankful to the many judges who devoted considerable effort to reviewing the submissions.

    The finalists, in the alphabetical order of paper titles, are as follows:

    1. Analysis of Farm Equipment Sharing in Emerging Economies. Olufunke Adebola (Hello Tractor), Priyank Arora (University of Massachusetts Amherst), and Can Zhang (Duke University).
    2. Combating excessive overtime in global supply chains. Anyan Qi (University of Texas at Dallas), Jiayu Chen (University of Calgary), and Chuanya Jiao (University of Science and Technology of China).
    3. Competition and Collaboration on Fundraising for Short-Term Disaster Response: The Impact on Earmarking and Performance. Arian Aflaki (University of Pittsburgh) and Alfonso Pedraza-Martinez (Indiana University).
    4. Interpretable Models for the Automated Detection of Human Trafficking in Illicit Massage Businesses. Margaret Tobey (North Carolina State University), Ruoting Li (North Carolina State University), Osman Y. Özaltın (North Carolina State University), Maria E. Mayorga (North Carolina State University), and Sherrie Caltagirone (Global Emancipation Network).
    5. Split Liver Transplantation: An Analytical Decision Support Model. Yanhan (Savannah) Tang (Carnegie Mellon University), Alan Scheller-Wolf (Carnegie Mellon University), Sridhar Tayur (Carnegie Mellon University), Emily R. Perito (University of California, San Francisco), and John P. Roberts (University of California, San Francisco).

    The finalists will present their work in the PSOR Best Paper Award session at INFORMS, which is scheduled on Sunday at 12.30 PM (SC23). The winners will be announced at the PSOR Breakfast at the conference.
