    The Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management (SEEM) under the Faculty of Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) invites applications for the faculty posts at the levels of Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor in the areas related to financial technologies, operations management,  and supply chain management. For financial technologies, candidates with expertise in distributed ledger systems, E-payment, cryptography, and internet finance are preferred.

    CUHK is one of the top universities in Asia. The Department of SEEM hosts one of the best research groups in operations management, financial engineering and technologies, service engineering, and information systems. In addition to competitive salary and housing benefits, the Department also provides strong research support.

    Applicants should have a relevant PhD degree and a good scholarly record demonstrating potential for teaching and research excellence. Substantive track appointments will normally be made on contract basis for up to three years initially commencing August 2023, which, subject to performance and mutual agreement, may lead to longer-term appointment or substantiation later. Non-substantive track appointments will initially be made on contract basis for one to two years, renewable subject to performance and mutual agreement. The exact start date will be negotiated with the successful applicants.
