  • 1.  Do Analytics Certifications and Exams Boost Job Market Opportunities?

    Hi all, happy to join the community!

    I am currently a student in Master of Science in Business Analytics, UC Davis and I have 5-6 years in brand and online marketing where I dealt with a/b testing analysis. What worries me is that I do not have a job experience in business analytics specific. So my question is, 

    are certifications related to analytics a significant advantage in the job market, and how do credentials like Tableau certification, CAP, and others impact one's career prospects in the field of business analytics? Especially for people who do not have job experience in analytics field!

    For someone who doesn't have any job experience in the analytics field, the certifications would show the recruiter that you are capable of entering this field with a reasonable amount of domain knowledge and skills. Hope this answers your question!
