    Special Issue: TSL Conference 2023

    Submission Deadline: November 15, 2023 December 15, 2023

    We are excited to announce a special issue of Transportation Science in connection with the "TSL Conference 2023". For this special issue, we solicit revised and extended versions of papers presented at the INFORMS Transportation and Logistics Society Second Triennial Conference hosted at Loyola University in Chicago, IL, USA on July 23-26, 2023. As a result, we ask that authors include in the cover letter accompanying their submission the title of the corresponding presentation.

    Submission Guidelines

    Submissions will be peer-reviewed according to the usual standards of the journal. Please submit your manuscript online via ScholarOne Manuscripts at:

    When choosing Manuscript Type in Step 1 of the submission procedure enter "Special Issue – TSL Conference 2023" otherwise your submission will be handled as a regular manuscript. The Instructions to Authors can be found on the Transportation Science homepage:

    As noted above, please indicate in the cover letter accompanying the submission the title of the corresponding presentation at the TSL Conference 2023. Failure to mention the title of the presentation will result in the paper being handled as a regular manuscript.

    Timeline and Process

    Deadline for submission: November 15, 2023 December 15, 2023; earlier submissions are encouraged

    Two rounds of review, completed on a rolling basis as papers are submitted to meet the deadline for final decisions

    Fall 2025: Publication of special issue (Papers will be published online as soon as they are accepted)
