The College of Healthcare Operations Management of the Production and Operations Management Society (POMS) announces its 2023 Best Paper Competition. This competition is held each year to honor outstanding papers in the field of Healthcare Operations Management. Each submitted paper will be judged based on its contribution towards the advancement of theory and practice of Healthcare Operations Management.
Timeline and instructions for submission of papers:
- Submit an abstract of the paper to POMS before the conference CFP deadline.
- Email the full-length paper to Tinglong Dai (Johns Hopkins) and David Ding (Rutgers) at best.hc.paper@gmail.com with the subject line-CHOM 2023 Best Paper Competition-by December 15, 2022. (Note: Do not send the paper to POMS.)
- Include the following information in the email: title of the paper, list of authors, and the confirmation number of the abstract. You receive this confirmation number when you submit your abstract (the official deadline for abstract submission is December 15, 2022, you must submit it before you send the full paper).
Register for the conference as per the registration deadline, but preferably as soon as possible.
