    The INFORMS Data Mining Society (DMS) is delighted to invite you to organize and chair sessions at the  2024 INFORMS Annual Meeting! The meeting will be held on October 20-23, 2024 at Seattle, WA, USA.

     

    We welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds, including students, faculty, and industry/nonprofit professionals, who share an interest in chairing regular-talk/flash-talk/panel discussion sessions focused on the applications and methodologies of data analytics and decision making. As chairs of regular-talk sessions, you will be responsible for inviting 4-5 speakers to give a 15-minute presentation each, in a 75-minute session. Note that INFORMS restricts each speaker to only ONE presentation.

    If you are interested in organizing a regular-talk/flash-talk/panel discussion session at the 2024 INFORMS Annual Meeting, please fill this form https://forms.office.com/r/3uSeB9NGv0 by April 15, 2024. We will review your session request and create a session for you in the system. You will then receive an email with detailed instructions to invite and enter presenters in your session.

    Important Dates

    ·       April 15: Deadline to indicate interest of being a Session Chair 

    ·       April 17: Deadline for Cluster Chairs to submit Sessions and Session Chairs 

    ·       May 1: Deadline for Session Chairs to submit Presenters

    ·       May 15: Deadline for Presenters to submit Abstracts

    ·       Aug 1: Deadline for Presenters to register for INFORMS
