Call for Participation: QCRE Student Interaction and Poster Competition

2026 IISE Annual Conference & Expo

    May 16 – 19, 2026, Arlington, Texas

Quality Control and Reliability Engineering Track

The Quality Control & Reliability Engineering (QCRE) Track of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) is inviting QCRE student members to participate in the Student Interaction and Poster Competition Session at the IISE Annual Conference 2026.

In the Student Interaction session, students will have opportunities to interact with peers and panelists from academia and industry.

In the Student Poster Competition session, students will be given the opportunity to display their research posters. A winner will be selected by a panel of judges. The main judging criteria are based on three aspects 1) Appearance and structure (poster visually attractive, easy to read, flow logically), 2) Content (technical contribution is clear, objective is well developed, problem is well motivated), and 3) Discussion (the poster provokes quality discussion, poster author shows a good understanding of the content, the presenter professionally responses to questions).

Note the Student Interaction and Student Poster Competition are two separate sessions and need to be registered separately using the links below:

Prior to the conference, the participants will be asked to submit their posters (for Student Poster Competition participants) and/or two-page introduction slides (for Student Interaction participants) to co-Chairs electronically by May 10th, 2026.

The poster session participants are required to bring their physical posters to the conference. Each poster should not exceed 36 inches tall x 48 inches wide.
