Dear ISS Member,
The terms of our current ISS officers - Olivia Sheng (President), Jason Chan (Vice-President), and Gorkem Turgut Ozer (Secretary/Treasurer) - are coming to an end this year.
In line with the society's bylaws (https://connect.informs.org/iss/aboutiss/bylaws), a committee comprising the past three chairs - Ravi Bapna, Ramnath Chellappa, and D. J. Wu - is entrusted with overseeing the election of officers for the subsequent two-year term. We invite you to submit nominations for these three officer positions.
Should you wish to nominate a candidate for any of the roles, kindly send your nomination - which should include the candidate's contact information and a brief statement explaining your reasons for endorsing them for the specific position - to dj.wu@scheller.gatech.edu by August 31, 2023. Before submitting any nominations, please ensure you've confirmed the candidate's willingness to undertake the specific role if elected.
