Dear INFORMS Data Mining Society Members,
We are pleased to announce the call for nominations for the following officer positions within the INFORMS Data Mining Society:
- Chair-Elect: A two-year term, serving as Vice Chair in the first year and Chair in the second.
- Secretary/Treasurer: A two-year term.
- Two Council Members: Each with a two-year term.
- Communications Officer (Webmaster/Newsletter Editor): A one-year term.
For details on the responsibilities of these roles, please refer to the DMS Bylaws.
To submit a nomination or self-nomination, please email Nathan Gaw at nathan.gaw@au.af.edu by August 30, 2024. Include the nominee's contact information (name, email) and a brief background. Note that nominees must be members of both INFORMS and the INFORMS Data Mining Society. Please nominate only one person per position.
Online elections will take place in mid-September.
We also welcome your involvement in the DMS community beyond these roles. I look forward to connecting with you at the INFORMS Annual Meeting.
