**Please forward this to your students/colleagues/friends if appropriate.**
    Dear DAS Community and Friends
The INFORMS Decision Analysis Society (DAS)'s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee is seeking applications from undergraduate and graduate students to become DAS DEI Student Fellows to contribute to our DEI Values & Metrics project. The goal of the project is to use value-focused thinking to collaboratively define DEI values and propose metrics that can be used to evaluate achievement of these values. The project includes the analysis of survey results. The students will be supervised by members from the DAS DEI committee.

The project is expected to commence as soon at April 17, 2023 and be completed by the end of the summer. One journal article and a 1-page "best practices" is expected from this work. Students are asked to commit approximately 3-4 hours per week to the effort and will be awarded at least $500 for their efforts, depending on the number of fellows. They will also be encouraged to participate in the 2023 INFORMS and/or 2024 ADA conferences and present initial findings.

To apply, please send a descriptive yet concise summary (up to one page) on why you are interested in working on this project, what you expect to contribute, and what you expect to learn. Also, please confirm in your application that you have availability to work on this project through the Summer of 2023. Please also include a copy of your resume/CV.

Applications are due on March 10, 2023 by 11:59pm EST and should be emailed to Dr. Jun Zhuang (jzhuang@buffalo.edu) with the subject line "DEI Values and Metrics Project." All materials should be contained within a single PDF. Confirmation of receipt will be given. Notification of awards will be made by April 7, 2023.
    Warm regards,
Andrea Hupman, Gul Kremer, Allison Reilly, and Jun Zhuang
INFORMS Decision Analysis Society (DAS), Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee
