    Dear Colleagues,

    I trust this message finds you well. I am writing to bring your attention to a unique opportunity for undergraduate students engaged in Operations Research-related work. The IISE Operations Research Division is hosting the Undergraduate Student Research Dissemination Award, an esteemed competition featuring cash prizes held annually at the IISE Annual Conference. This year's competition is proudly sponsored by the University of Missouri and Clemson University.

    The purpose of the award is to acknowledge outstanding scholarly work and effective communication of results from undergraduate students or student teams. We invite you to encourage eligible students to submit their work for consideration. Here are the key details:

    Submission Guidelines:

    • The application process involves submitting an abstract via the IISE Annual Conference and Expo submission site by November 17, 2023.
    • Express your interest in participating in the competition by emailing the IISE OR Division's UG Competition Organizers, Sharan Srinivas (SrinivasSh@missouri.edu) and Weijun Xie (wxie@gatech.edu). Please include your Abstract ID and title in the email.
    • Paper Submission:
      • If the abstract is accepted, a research paper must be submitted to the organizers for review by February 7, 2024.
      • All submissions will undergo a double-blind review by external referees, following the IISE Conference Proceedings guidelines.
    • Oral Presentation:
      • Selected finalists will be required to make an oral presentation. 
      • Detailed information on the presentation format will be provided to the finalists.
