WSC 2023 highlights the vital role that simulation plays in designing, planning, and operating resilient systems. You can find the conference schedule at Schedule - Winter Simulation Conference 2023 (informs.org).

December 10, Sunday contains preconference workshops on Simulation 101, Simulation Optimization, and Data Farming. In the afternoon, there are PhD Colloquium, vendor workshops, poster lightning presentations, and poster sessions.

December 11, Monday starts with Welcome & Keynote Session and Ann Dunkin, Chief Information Officer at the U.S. Department of Energy, giving a talk on Modeling for Energy Resilience: How DOE Uses Simulation to Model and Manage Everything from the Power Grid to the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. Exhibits open at 9:30am to demonstrate the latest simulation technologies. The technical sessions including vendor track, tutorials, panels, and commercial case studies start at 10am. In particular, the commercial case studies present a unique opportunity to learn about the latest innovations in the commercial application of simulation to solve pressing problems. Other conference highlights include Titan Talks, Military and MASM (Modeling & Analysis of Semiconductor Manufacturing) keynotes, society meetings, and vendor user group meetings.

If you would be in the area, please stop by the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter Level 3 and join us for the General Reception on Monday evening at 6:30pm!
