Dear Colleagues,The INFORMS JFIG recently held a panel discussion on "Medical & Clinical Collaborations in Healthcare: A Guide for Junior Faculty." The panel interactively discussed medical and clinical collaborations by covering the several stages and aspects related to it. This included how to approach doctors and other medical experts from academic or non-academic medical institutions, how to establish publication plans, when and how to initiate medical research grant proposals, how to manage funded healthcare projects, and how to maintain a successful medical/clinical collaboration.
