CALL FOR PAPERS
Join us in beautiful Brighton, on England's sunny south coast, for this year's Production and Operations Management Society (POMS) international conference (Sept 2nd to 4th 2019). The conference is hosted by the University of Sussex Business School and supported by Judge Business School (University of Cambridge) and Kingston Business School. The theme of this year's conference is "Connecting the Operations Management and Supply Chain Management World in Divided Times".
We are now inviting submissions for 50 word abstracts describing your research and key findings. Please send your abstracts via e-mail to bsre@sussex.ac.uk, using the submission template available on the conference website: https://www.poms2019.com/registration
The deadline for abstract submissions is June 15th, 2019. Acceptance notifications will be sent on a continuous basis one week after abstract submission, not after the end of the submission deadline. Early bird registration is available from March 1st to June 15th, 2019.
The conference will have keynote speeches by:
· Sushil Gupta (Florida International University) on Disaster Management
· George Perakis (MIT Sloan School of Management) on Data Driven Operations and Practice-Based Research
· Kamalini Ramdas (London Business School) on Healthcare Innovation
· Stefan Scholtes (Judge Business School, Cambridge) on Healthcare Management
We will also host meet-the-editor panels for leading international journals (Management Science, Production and Operations Management, Journal of Operations Management, IJOPM and IJPE). Finally we will offer a grant writing session on how to reach out to practice and other funding organisations
