The INFORMS Professional Colloquium (IPC), now in its 13th year, brings graduate students together at the April INFORMS conference to participate in an intense one-day program ahead of the conference to train them in how to work effectively in industry, with presentations on networking, consulting, soft skills, and a case study. Each year about 20 students are offered the opportunity to attend. While they receive the discounted student attendance fee, they still need help with covering that fee along with travel and lodging costs, as their total cost is usually about $1300.
Sponsors receive a resume book of the students as well as recognition on the webpage and at the event. If your organization is able to help defray their costs, please send me a message at alan.taber@lmco.com. We need to finish gathering sponsorships by Monday, March 13th so that we can give an accurate estimate to the students of how much aid they will receive. No donation too small or too large.
