Dear INFORMS Chicago Chapter Members,
This has been a productive year for the INFORMS Chicago Chapter! We organized five local/virtual events that brought together professionals, students, and academics in the Chicago area. Our annual conference this year was themed "Surviving to Thriving in a New Normal: Resilience through Analytics".

The INFORMS Chicago Chapter Board members, Ambassadors, and Volunteer Action Committee members that organize the events are passionate about providing Chapter members an opportunity to enhance their careers & knowledge …and we have a lot of fun along the way.
Do you have fresh ideas on events that could be beneficial to our members? Do you enjoy networking with academic and industry experts? Do you have an interest in greater participation in INFORMS?
If the answer is yes to any of those questions, we encourage you to consider a deeper relationship with the chapter by joining our Volunteer Action Committee. This is a great opportunity to create a path to become a board member and work with the current board in organizing local events as well as the annual conference. You will be collaborating with a team of highly motivated volunteers planning and executing the events.
We have several VAC openings for the committee, and we would like to fill them by the beginning of the new year.
