We are pleased to announce the Data Science in a Digital World: Methodology, Organization, and Management (MOM) hosted at Harvard Business School on May 20-21, 2022. The workshop will take place in person; all attendees will receive funding for travel, accommodations, and food.

This is the second conference hosted by Harvard Business School and IMS New Researchers Group, bringing together leading junior researchers in the data science, statistics, management, social sciences, and decision sciences communities.

By participating in this workshop, you will meet junior scholars working at the cutting edge of both theory and practice at the intersection of these topics. Our goal is to develop common ground for future discussions and to spur collaborations among researchers in the management, data, and decision sciences.

The workshop will include panels, lightning talks from all participants, and networking activities.

This workshop is open to assistant professors. Should you be interested in attending, please apply by Sunday, April 10 at 11:59pm EDT and send the following materials to DSCMDS@hbs.edu:

    • Your CV
    • A brief summary of your research and how it relates to the workshop theme
    • One extended abstract you would like to submit for consideration to present in the workshop-wide presentations

A verbal attestation of full vaccination, including a booster if eligible, or a negative COVID-19 test (PCR or rapid) within 48 hours of arrival to campus is required for all external guests. Please note that COVID protocols are subject to change. If requirements change before your arrival to campus, we will be in touch with updated information.
