The Department of Industrial Systems Engineering & Management (ISEM), National University of Singapore invites applications for an open rank tenure-track position in operations research broadly defined to include optimization, dynamic programming, stochastic modelling, machine learning, and game theory. Our department values pure methodology as well as translational work with significant applications, as evidenced by the faculty's wide domain expertise. We are looking for candidates with the potential to build a record of excellence in both research and teaching. Requisite is exceptional potential for leadership in research and education, an ability and willingness to teach at all levels of the program, and a PhD in operations research, mathematics, or a related field by the start of the appointment. In addition to competitive salaries, NUS provides an attractive support package including subsidized housing and relocation benefits.
