    Call for Papers

MSOM Supply Chain Management SIG 2017 Conference

Kenan Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina, June 19, 2017

The Supply Chain Management Special Interest Group (SIG) of the Manufacturing and Service Operations Management Society (MSOM) will hold its 10th annual conference on Monday June 19, 2017 at the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School in Chapel Hill, NC, preceding the MSOM 2017 conference (June 20 – 21). The SIG website is https://msom2017.kenan-flagler.unc.edu/submit-to-sig/.

On behalf of the Supply Chain Management SIG, we would like to invite you to submit papers to this conference. Presentations of the accepted papers will be scheduled in a single track in four Thought Leader sessions on the day. All supply chain management related topics are welcome, and all methodologies including theoretical, empirical, case and field studies are welcome.

Submission deadline (full paper):         February 17, 2017

Notification of acceptance:                   March 17, 2017

Deadline to update accepted papers:  May 1, 2017

    Submission Guidelines and Review Process

    • Submit by email to scmsig2017@gmail.com
    • Include the paper title in the subject line and attach the following two files in pdf format.
      • The author information file should list the paper title and authors' names and contact information, and the presenter information. Please name this file as <first three words of the paper title_last name of the corresponding author>.pdf.
      • The paper file http://www.informs.org/Pubs/MSOM/Submission-Guidelines
    • The papers will undergo a double-blind review process by an expert panel. To support this process author names should NOT appear anywhere in the paper file. The authors of accepted papers may submit an updated version of the paper by May 1, 2017.

Coordination with the general MSOM Conference

Although the same paper may not be presented in both the MSOM Conference and a SIG Conference, authors may have their submission considered by both. To do so, the authors should only make a single submission to the SIG Conference and indicate in their submission email that they would also like to be considered for the MSOM conference in case the paper is not accepted by the SIG Conference (which has higher priority). The same work may not be submitted to more than one SIG Conference.
