The Department of Supply Chain Management in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University is seeking applications from those interested in a Postdoctoral Research Scholar position with an anticipated start date of Summer/Fall 2022.
Expectations/Essential Functions:
- The postdoctoral scholar will develop his or her own research, in addition to contributing to ongoing research of faculty mentor(s) within the SCM department. Our faculty members have a wide range of research interests, and the postdoctoral scholar can work with more than one faculty member.
- The postdoctoral scholar will also have opportunities to teach.
- We anticipate that the postdoctoral scholar will be an active participant in workshops, conferences and events at W. P. Carey School of Business.
This is a full-time, non-tenure-track, benefits-eligible, fiscal year (July 1 – June 30) appointment with the possibility of a one-year renewal. Salary is competitive.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in one of the relevant fields of economics, public policy, supply chain management, operations management, operations research, or other related areas. Applicant must have degree conferred before the start date.
Desired Qualifications: (i) Strong writing skills, presentations skills developed at conferences; (ii) skills in advanced quantitative, experimental, or empirical research methods, and possession of an independent research agenda.
