It's great to be a part of Informs Connect. One clear fact is that here in Uganda, a developing country, there are different forms of raw data available on one side and the brains (decision makers) on the other side. The big problem I have noted here is that there is always no
link between the two and thus the need for CAP. Data here is mainly used to fill mandatory reports with tables and figures but rarely to make business decisions. How can I get the Top Management and Board of Directors say for where I work to appreciate the value of Data Analytics as I embark on the Informs CAP journey?
