    Dear colleagues,

    The MSOM Conference 2023 hosted by McGill University in the vibrant city of Montreal is approaching fast.  The conference will kick off with the MSOM SIG Day on June 24, followed by the main MSOM Conference on June 25-26.  We would like to bring important information and the key events of the conference to your attention:

    Registration:

    There is still time until the regular registration deadline for the conference on June 10. We encourage you to join us and be a part of this exceptional conference.  For more information, please visit: https://www.mcgill.ca/msom2023/

    Schedule:

    We are delighted to inform you that the program brief for the MSOM 2023 conference has been released and is available at https://www.mcgill.ca/msom2023/program-brief and on the conference website. You can see the comprehensive program of the main conference in this conftool link. The detailed schedule for the SIG Day will be posted soon.

    Key events:

    • MSOM 2023 practice-based competition: Finalists for the MSOM 2023 practice-based competition will give talks in two dedicated sessions (Sunday June 25th at 8:00-9:30 and at 10:00-11:30) with the winners announced during the MSOM business meeting, which will take place (along with the reception dinner) from 19:00 to 22:00, at the Montreal Science Centre, located in the Old Port of Montreal.

     

    • MSOM 2023 Fellow talks: During the main conference's lunch breaks, we will celebrate the announcement of two new MSOM-fellows 2023, who will deliver insightful talks.

    • MSOM DEI Panel: We are proud to host a panel discussion that focuses on advancing topics related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in operations management.

    • MSOM Africa Initiative: For the second consecutive year, we are excited to feature a session highlighting research related to African contexts and topics.
