We have an immediate opening PostDoc position at the Center of Energy Systems of Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech). The main topic is "Energy Systems Modelling, Markets and Optimization".
The initial term of the position is for 1 year, with possibility of renewal, based on mutual interest. The position location is in Moscow, Russia.
The position will need skills within: electric power engineering, control engineering, operation research (multi-timescale and multi-objective optimization, mathematical decomposition and linear/non-linear programming, robust optimization) and some knowledge about electricity markets. We seek candidate with competences in several of these disciplines and strong mathematical background.
It is no required knowledge of Russian language. The official language at Skoltech is English.
