Cal Maritime is seeking a tenure track Assistant or Associate professor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management in the Department of International Business and Logistics. The job bulletin is attached. Cal Maritime is a unique and specialized campus of the 23-campus California State University (CSU) system. Serving a population of approximately 1100 undergraduate and 50 graduate students, we are one of only seven degree-granting maritime academies in the United States.
We seek applicants with expertise in logistics and supply chain management who demonstrate the potential to pursue a balance commitment to teaching excellence, scholarly and creative research, and active service. Particularly desirable are candidate with extensive industry experience, a record of excellence in undergraduate teaching and a doctoral degree in a relevant field.
We are not interviewing at INFORMS Phoenix, but I will be at the conference from Nov 4 through Nov 7 and would be happy to talk with anyone interested about the school and what it's like to teach there. I taught there and was Department Head a few years ago. You can call or text me at 510-710-3177 to set up an informal meeting at INFORMS. I look forward to talking with you.
