Call for Session Chairs: Informs 2022 Annual Meeting - Education Cluster

The INFORMS Committee on Teaching and Learning is seeking proposals for its cluster of sessions at the 2022 Annual Meeting in Indianapolis, Indiana, on OR/MS/Analytics topics related to education.  We are seeking session chairs and speakers.  

The mission of the Committee is to promote discussion and interaction among individuals interested in the teaching of OR/MS/Analytics.  Possible session topics include:
-       Analytics curricula for business, data science, engineering, and mathematics programs
-       Innovative teaching approaches
-       Developing productive mentoring relationships
-       Teaching best practices
-       New challenges in today's educational environment
-       Aligning learning objectives, assessments, and course materials
-       Teaching data science

Sessions must have a minimum of four regular-talks, and one flash talk each.  If you are interested in organizing a session, in serving as a session chair, or in presenting in this cluster, please contact Kitty Kay Chan by March 10th at kkc2139@columbia.edu with a suggested title and brief description.  Proposals will be reviewed on a rolling basis.  Proposals are also welcome for sessions jointly sponsored with other INFORMS work groups.

All Session Chairs should have speaker information entered by May 2, 2022 and initial drafts of the abstracts for each talk are due by May 16th.  Please note that editing of abstracts will be able to continue within the portal until August 1st.
