2024 POMS College of Supply Chain Management Mini-Conference
Thursday, April 25, 2024, 12:00 pm–5:00 pm
The POMS College of Supply Chain Management is proud to announce that it will organize a tour of the 3M Manufacturing Plant in Cottage Grove on Thursday April 25th, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm (the day before the POMS Annual Conference in Minneapolis, MN starts).
We are happy to share the details of this exciting tour and a tentative agenda for the mini-conference.
Tour Details:
Participants can expect the following activities:
- A brief overview of 3M's history
- A meeting with 3M Cottage Grove Plant Supply Chain Manager and other officials
- An "on the floor" tour of their facilities
- A debrief after the tour
Tentative Agenda:
12:00–1:00 pm Lunch at the conference hotel (Hyatt Regency Minneapolis)
1:00 pm Departure time from the conference hotel
1:30 pm Group arrives at the drop-off point
1:30–4:00 pm Tour of the 3M Manufacturing Plant in Cottage Grove
4:00 pm Group leaves 3M
6:00 pm We will join other colleges for dinner at the conference hotel
