We invite applications for PhD Scholarship at the Nanyang Technological University, under the supervision of Dr. Okan Duru. The successful candidate will be involved in various projects developing computer intelligence for financial and economic phenomenon in the transportation context. Applicants should have (minimum) a bachelor of science degree in Transportation Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Econometrics or a related field. Candidate should have computing skills particularly in modelling and simulation with MATLAB. Experience in financial and economic modelling is not essential, but experienced candidate will be preferred.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Master Degree with very good academic results in a relevant discipline from a reputable university.
- Highly motivated and research oriented personality.
- Fluent verbal and written communications in English; good GRE and TOEFL or IELTS scores if your first language is not English.
Stipend and Allowances:
Full support of tuition fees.
Monthly stipend of S$2,000 per month (S$2,500 after the qualifying examination).
