    The Department of Business Administration at the University of Southern Maine seeks to fill a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Business Analytics and Information Systems starting Fall 2018.

    Responsibilities include:
    • teaching introductory management information systems courses;
    • teaching and developing a variety of business analytics courses in a new undergraduate major;
    • teaching and developing face-to-face and online courses;
    • applied research and professional development in areas of specialization;
    • University service, in the context of collaborative relationships within the university and the external business community;
    • advising undergraduate business students;
    Candidates must have a Ph.D. in information systems, business analytics, or a related field from an AACSB accredited institution. ABD's with strong likelihood of completion within one year of appointment will also be considered but preference will be given to candidates that will have completed their Ph.D. prior to September 2018. Additionally, the candidate will have formal training in information systems, statistics, management science, or analytics. Preference will be given to candidates familiar with Python and R.
