We are very happy to announce that ODS2022, the International Conference on Optimization and Decision Science, organized by AIRO, the Italian Association for Operations Research, will be held in Firenze, Italy, on August 30th - September 2nd, 2022.

ODS2022 represents an opportunity for researchers and practitioners, private and public companies, industries, and policy makers, to present and share ideas, experiences and knowledge, to foster collaborations and to meet friends!

The conference theme, as usual, is open in the whole field of operations research. However, a special focus will be on Optimization, Equity, Inclusion.

The historical moment we are living has certainly given a push to understand that the time has come to review and rethink decision-making strategies. Offering solutions that consider equity, whether in terms of gender, well-being, economic or social conditions, is a challenge that we, as researchers, must face. The theme of this conference is also a challenge, and we are pretty sure that many of you will enthusiastically help us to meet it! We look forward to discussing with you any initiatives you may wish to propose on the theme.

There are two types of contribution: short paper (8--10 pages) or abstract (max 2000 characters). For both, the deadline is March 15th, 2022.

Accepted papers will be included in a refereed volume of the AIRO Springer Series, indexed in main scientific databases.

Session proposals are welcome and have to be sent to ods2022@airoconference.it not later than March 1st, 2022.
