    Description
    The W. Frank Barton School of Business at Wichita State University invites applications for two full time 9-month Senior Educator/Instructor positions, one in Management Information Systems (MIS) and the other in Business Analytics (BA). The instructor teaching load will be 4 courses (3-credits each) in fall semester and 4 courses in spring semester. The start date is August 8th, 2022. Potential candidates will teach undergraduate and graduate classes. BA and MIS instructors will teach courses like Introduction to Business Analytics and Introduction to MIS courses, respectively. Candidates will primarily teach face to face but should be willing to teach using other instructional modalities (online, blended) and engage with the local businesses and the larger community to provide applied learning opportunities for the students. Candidates are expected to engage in different service activities at the department, college, university, profession, and local community.

    Wichita, KS is known as "The Air Capital of the World" given the large number of aircraft manufacturing companies that call Wichita home. The Barton School of Business works closely with the business community, which provides research opportunities for faculty and keeps our curriculum relevant. The candidate will be a faculty member in the department of Finance, Real Estate, and Decision Sciences (FREDS), which offers programs in Finance, MIS, BA, and Supply Chain with a cross-disciplinary focus that give students the skills to bridge functional business areas by applying expertise in analytics, information systems, and/or supply chain management.     Requirements

    Qualified candidates must hold a graduate degree in MIS, BA or a closely related area, have at least 2 year of industry experience, and have teaching or training experience. Preference will be given to candidates with graduate degrees from an AACSB accredited institution that have teaching interests in IT and analytics. Candidates must also demonstrate excellent oral and written communications skills.
