Dear Colleagues,
I am delighted to announce the composition of the Industry Judge Panel for this year's
M&SOM Practice-Based Research Competition:
- Srinivas Bollapragada (Executive - Chief Scientist at GE Global Research, formerly EIC of Interfaces, Chair of the Edelman Competition and Area Editor of OR Practice);
- Hugo Mora (Senior Director of Global Sourcing & Manufacturing Analytics at Nike);
- Garrett Van Ryzin (Distinguished Scientist at Amazon, formerly Distinguished Scientist and Head of Marketplace Lab at Lyft, Head of Marketplace Optimization Advanced Development at Uber, Professor of Decision Risk and Operations at Columbia University and Professor of Operations, Technology and Information Management at Cornell Tech).
The presentations of finalist papers to this panel will be held on Monday June 7
th as part of sessions A (8:30-10am EDT) and B (10:30-noon EDT) of the
2021 Annual MSOM Conference hosted online by the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. These sessions will be open to the general public in order to facilitate attendance by colleagues from industry.
