Call for Session Chairs of Data Mining at INFORMS 2017 Annual Meeting
Dear Colleagues,
As you might be aware, the countdown has started for organizing a session at the INFORMS 2017 Annual Meeting which will be held in Houston, TX in October 2017.
As the Chair-Elect of INFORMS Data Mining (DM) section, I cordially invite you to organize a DM-based session as a Session Chair for this conference. If you are interested in pursuing this, please send me an email at asil_oztekin@uml.edu including the following: 1) the title of your intended session, 2) a very brief description of its focus, and 3) five prospective presenters’ names and affiliations by March 15, 2016. For each session 90 minutes are allocated, which should include five talks this year.
Please feel free to forward this invitation to your colleagues and/or Ph.D. students who are interested in the field of Data Mining and would be able to organize such a session.
