    Faculty Positions in Nanyang Business School, Singapore

    Young and research-intensive, Nanyang Technological University (NTU Singapore) is ranked 11th globally (QS World University Ranking 2019). It is also the world's top young university.

    The Nanyang Business School (NBS), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore is now accepting applications for two tenure-track faculty positions (one in Operations Management (OM) and one in Information Systems (IS)) at all levels, beginning in Fall 2020.

    Requirements for the OM position

    Candidates should have completed or be close to completing a PhD in Operations Management, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering or a related field. Candidates for the senior position are expected to have an established record for research excellence and record of academic leadership. The primary responsibility of the position is to conduct high-quality research and to teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in the area of operations management and business analytics. Ideal candidates should demonstrate strong research potential in addressing problems in one or more of the following areas: Supply Chain management, Service Operations, Health Care Operations, Business Analytics, and Corporate Sustainability. Candidates with an interdisciplinary research focus are encouraged to apply. Teaching experiences in the methods or applications of business analytics, econometrics, and operations management will be considered a plus.

    Requirements for the IS position

     Applicants should have earned their Ph.D. degree with a concentration in information systems, innovation management or a related field and begun to establish a record for research excellence. We look for technically competent candidates with strong research training and a good research pipeline and track record. We are also looking for individuals who have evidence of teaching effectiveness with an interest in teaching in various areas of IT management, including data analytics, domain-specific IT (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Marketing and  Healthcare), and IT security and risk management.
