The Krannert School of Management Data Analytics for Good Competition is here! Jointly-sponsored by Purdue Krannert Masters Programs, Purdue Krenicki Center for Business Analytics & Machine Learning, Microsoft, SILInternational, and INFORMS, the largest professional analytics organization in the world. This elite analytics competition challenges undergraduate and graduate students all across the country to compete for $25,000 in prize money!
- Registration Deadline: November 9th!!!
- In Phase I of the competition, students can participate in training from Microsoftexpert trainers on Azure and AI fundamentals and also receive FREE practice exams and certification vouchers on their state-of-the-art Azure platform. All students will receive a badge for completing these training courses (Note: training recordings are available for 30 days if you cannot patriciate in real-time).
- In Phase II of the competition, you and a team of students will then be tasked to apply that learning using Microsoft and open-source toolsto develop a solution to a problem provided by SIL International. Students teams will be ranked by their performance on the com leaderboard.
- In Phase III, the top three undergraduate and graduate student teams are invited to Purdue University-West Lafayette for in-person presentations of your solution. These teams will be provided FREE housing and food accommodations and treated like the rock stars that you are. Student teams are expected to present their work by aligning it to theINFORMS Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) 7 JTA domains (e.g., Business Problem Framing, Analytics Problem Framing, etc.), while showing the potential business or social implications that their approach could have that is different from others.
