Dr. Erica Gralla of George Washington University will be the inaugural speaker in the "Operations and Systems Engineering Extreme Events Research" (OSEEER) Seminar Series, on 13 November 2020 at 11:30am EST. Her seminar on "Humanitarian Transportation Planning: A Behavioral Study of Practice-Driven Heuristics" will address methodological issues in investigating expert approaches to problem formulation, and how experts' heuristics-based approaches perform in comparison to other methods.
