Call for Nominations: Saul Gass Expository Writing Award
The Saul Gass Expository Writing Award honors an operations researcher / management scientist whose publications demonstrate a consistently high standard of expository writing. The award is given each year at the INFORMS Annual Meeting if there is a suitable recipient. The winner will receive $2,000 and a framed certificate that includes a brief citation at the 2017 Annual Meeting.
Nominations should be from single individuals who are members of INFORMS and who have expertise in, or close to, the expertise of the nominee. Nominations should be written statements of no more than 1,000 words, and they should include references to examples of the nominee's expository writing, as well as evidence of the influence these works have had on the OR/MS profession.
