Dear Friends and Colleagues,Hope you are doing well and that you are safe and healthy.We are organizing the cluster of sessions for Nonlinear Optimization for the 2022 INFORMS Annual Meeting (Indianapolis, IN; October 16-19, 2022; https://meetings.informs.org/wordpress/indianapolis2022/). We are interested in both theory and applications of Nonlinear Optimization.
If you are interested in chairing a session, please send me an email (aberahas@umich.edu) with a tentative session title, ideally, by March 14th although we will do what we can to accommodate late submissions. Chairing a session is a great way to serve the community, discuss research problems with people sharing common interests, and meet those working in similar fields.
2022 INFORMS Annual Meeting deadlines:-
March 14: Deadline for chairing a session

May 2: Deadline for session chairs to invite presenters

May 16: Deadline for presenters to submit abstracts
The rules for sessions have changed for this year's annual meeting, in particular:
- Each session should have 4 regular talks and 1 flash talk. (See
https://meetings.informs.org/wordpress/indianapolis2022/cluster-and-session-chairs/ for more information)
- The "one-talk-per-speaker" policy is still in place. That is, each speaker can present only one regular talk or one flash talk.
If you do not want to chair a session, but you are interested in giving a talk in this cluster, please send me an email (aberahas@umich.edu) with a tentative talk title and a short abstract.Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Please also help share this information with your students/collaborators/colleagues.
