Dear colleagues,
We are inviting applications for a postdoctoral researcher position in Transportation/Logistics at Texas A&M University, College Station. The researcher will work on projects related to routing for power network restoration problems – specifically, developing novel solution methods for emerging time-sensitive and real-time problems in power networks. The candidate is expected to conduct research that can be published in top Transportation/Logistics journals.
What we request
We seek candidates with strong background in mathematical modeling, optimization, network routing, heuristics development and strong programming skills. Knowledge in Stochastic modeling is a plus. Postdoctoral researcher is expected to have a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or in a related area.
