The Department of Industrial Engineering at Boğaziçi University invites applications for full-time tenure-track faculty positions starting in Fall 2021.
Candidates are expected to have a PhD in industrial engineering, operations research, statistics, management science, or a related field. We are seeking candidates who are committed to excellence in research and teaching. The candidates are expected to develop a rigorous and relevant research career, with publications in leading academic journals.
There are three positions:
[IEOR] The first position is general in its scope. We encourage candidates with a strong background and interest in all methodological areas of Operations Research and Industrial Engineering to apply.
[SMan] For the second position, the department encourages candidates with background and interest in smart manufacturing and would consider applicants with strong academic records in methodological or applied topics in this area. There is more information available about this position here.
[OptML] For the third position, the department encourages candidates with a relevant research agenda at the crossroads of optimization and machine learning.
