The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) at RENSSELAER POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE in Troy, NY, announces a planned multi-year renewal of its faculty and mission. As part of this renewal, we seek applications for several open positions, including multiple tenure and tenure-track positions as well as multiple teaching-focused positions.
We are interested in building a department that contributes to the field of Industrial and Systems Engineering by bringing new ideas and making structural changes to create a more diverse and inclusive discipline and department. We seek highly collaborative applicants with strong vision for innovative research and education. Building on the department's long tradition, we seek faculty who are uncovering knowledge and creating solutions to socially important problems, are collaborating across disciplines, and are integrating their innovations and collaborations into their classrooms. We value applicants who are interested in the success of their students, their department, and their field, and whose research, teaching, and service complement and enhance one another.
