Full-time faculty position in Operations Management/Industrial Organization at Toulouse Business School
The Department of Information, Operations and Decision Science (team Industrial Organization, Logistics and Technology (IOLT) at Toulouse Business School is seeking to fill in one full-time faculty position in the field of Operations Management/Industrial Organization, to maintain and develop its reputation for excellence in research and high-quality teaching. The position opens in September 2021, and remains open until filled in.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate should hold a Ph.D. in Supply Chain/Operations Management, Operations Research, or Economics, and should possess excellent teaching abilities as well as the potential to publish in leading academic journals. He or she may have demonstrated these qualities during his/her post-doctoral experience or previous employment. Upon his/her joining of the school, the candidate is expected to participate in the teaching of operations management at the undergraduate level, and to develop lectures in his/her field of expertise at the post-graduate and executive education levels. The ability to teach procurement is a plus, as well as the ability to teach in French in the medium run. The position is open at the level of assistant professor or associate professor.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL:
Toulouse Business School was one of the first French business schools to obtain AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA accreditations. The School has three campuses where it teaches a total of 4,100 students: Toulouse, Barcelona (Spain), and Casablanca (Morocco). It has a core Master/"Grande Ecole" Program, lasting three years, which delivers a Master in Management. There are more than twenty MSc's, amongst which two MSc in Supply Chain and Purchasing Management, a Global Executive MBA program, and a Bachelor program. The School has formed a partnership with the Department of Management of the University of Toulouse I Capitole (Toulouse School of Management) to offer a joint Ph.D. program (Ecole Doctorale) in Management. The research expertise of TBS professors is hosted and developed within disciplinary laboratories (such as for example the "Finance, Economics & Econometrics" research lab), but also further enhanced around three transdisciplinary topics: Artificial Intelligence & Business Analytics; CSR & Sustainable Development; Aerospace & Mobility. Toulouse Business School offers competitive research and teaching conditions, including a large financial support and reduced teaching loads.
