Trust is essential to good business! I can see why cost disclosure could backfire on consumers. Sometimes I hear people complain about the higher prices of products like laptops arguing that "it doesn't cost them that much to make." Would cost transparency include the costs for the technological expertise required to design a product or just the cost of the materials involved?
