    Dear colleagues and students,

Following the success of the First Online Doctoral Workshop on Supply Chain Analytics (held in May 2020 with > 600 participants worldwide), we are organizing the Second Online Doctoral Workshop on Supply Chain Analytics on June 2nd, 2021. The workshop is free and intended to help OM/SCM/IE/DS PhD students and junior faculty with their career development.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the higher-education, from teaching to research. The workshop invited distinguished panelists and world-class scholars to share constructive advice that helps Ph.D. students prepare for the academic job market and junior faculty with teaching, research and tenure.

    The workshop facilitates four panels:
    1. Job market outlook 2021
    2. Research preparation and PhD curriculum design
    3. Teaching innovations
    4. Research, publishing & tenure

We are excited to have the EIC of Management Science, Professor David Simchi-Levi (MIT), the EIC of Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Professor Georgia Perakis (MIT), Dean Cole Smith (Syracuse), Dean Eric Johnson (Vanderbilt), Vice Dean Mor Armony (NYU), Senior Associate Dean Brian Tomlin (Dartmouth), Senior Associate Dean Yael Grushka-Cockayne (University of Virginia), Professor Kris Ferreira (HBS), Professor Elena Katok (UTD), Professor Pinar Keskinocak (Georgia Tech), Professor Panos Kouvelis (WUSTL), Professor Jan Van Mieghem (Northwestern), Professor Jeff Camm (Wake Forest), Professor Marcelo Olivares (Universidad de Chile), Professor Kamalini Ramdas (LBS), Professor Alan Scheller-Wolf (Carnegie Mellon), Professor Kevin Shang (Duke), Professor George Shanthikumar (Purdue), Professor Tom Tan (SMU), Professor Ruxian Wang (Johns Hopkins), Professor Candi Yano (UC Berkeley), and many esteemed faculty and colleagues (to be announced upon confirmation) to share their perspectives.
