Dear Stochastic Networks Community, Applied Probability Society, and friends,

I am writing to both remind you about the upcoming conference, and to let you know that we have extended the student travel grant application deadline to **May 1** (also the deadline for early registration).  Please find further details regarding the application under the "financial support" tab of the main webpage ( https://sites.northwestern.edu/snc2022/ ).  The Stochastic Networks Conference is an outstanding opportunity for junior scholars to learn more about the cutting edge of research, and more broadly be part of a vibrant and welcoming academic community, building collaborations and friendships that can last a lifetime.

We look forward to seeing many PhD students at the conference this summer!

Below please find a reminder of some other conference details.  Also, let us point out (in case it is helpful in finalizing travel) that the formal conference program will conclude at 1 pm on Friday June 24. Of course, people are encouraged to stay and enjoy beautiful Ithaca!  In addition, please keep in mind that early registration also ends **May 1**.  And please see the "poster session" tab of the conference website for information on how to submit a poster!

    ------------------------

Please join us **IN PERSON!** this Summer, June 20 - June 24 2022, for Stochastic Networks 2022 in Ithaca, NY at Cornell University.

    Among the conference highlights :

    1. Really interesting talks on cutting edge research by top-notch scholars

    2. An opportunity to catch up, celebrate, and collaborate with all your friends in the stochastic networks research community - and to make new friends as well!

    3. Visit beautiful Ithaca, including opportunities to hike and explore the surrounding nature

    4. Be a part of the rich tradition of the stochastic networks conference, which has generally been held biannually since 1987 (see https://www.brown.edu/academics/applied-mathematics/faculty/kavita-ramanan/professional-service/stochastic-networks-meetings for details about past conferences)

Registration is now open (with early registration ending **May 1**), and please see the conference website below for further details

Thanks, and we really look forward to seeing you this summer in Ithaca, especially as many in the community haven't had a chance to meet up in person for some time.

-Dave Goldberg and the SN2022 Organizing Committee-

    P.S.

Please check the website for more details on student travel grants and poster session.  Also, if you are interested in staying in Cornell student dorms (generally less expensive than local hotels), please follow the instructions on the conference website (click accommodation, click Cornell university dorms)
